We kindly ask you to return the house in the same condition as you found it, as the next guests will also want to enjoy its beauty and comfort. Check-in / Check-out:
The accommodation can be occupied after 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Upon arrival, you will find the keys in the key safe at the gate, the code for which you will receive in advance by email. On the day of departure, you must leave the house by 11:00 a.m. at the latest and return the keys to the box. The owner or their representative will be present upon arrival and departure, if requested. Only those who accept and comply with the house rules may stay at the guest house! Only registered guests may stay at the accommodation.
Closing the garden gate and the house:
Please lock the house and gate when leaving and at night! We ask you to take good care of the keys. In case of loss, guests are required to report it immediately and reimburse for the cost of the keys and the lock replacement.
Pets:
Small and medium-sized, house-trained, well-groomed dogs are allowed in our guest house for an additional fee. (3000 HUF/night/animal.) This does not cover the cost of any damage caused by the dog. If extra cleaning or repairs are necessary, we may charge an additional fee. Dogs are not allowed to use the beds or furniture in the rooms. The owner is responsible for providing a flea collar or other protection against parasites.
Smoking:
Smoking and incense burning are prohibited in the building! The designated smoking areas are the terrace and the garden. Please observe this rule and use the ashtray!
Garden:
The plants are tended by the host. Please take care not to damage them! You can park in the garden, but please do not drive past the walnut tree after turning right at the gate, and do not park in the "clearing" in front of the house.
Hot tub:
The hot tub can be used at your own risk, provided that you follow the instructions. Please be especially careful of slipping hazards, and note that touching the chimney and stove can cause burns! Children may only bathe under parental supervision and at the parents' responsibility.
The tub can be heated with wood, which takes about two hours depending on the outside temperature. The wood needed for heating can be found next to the house. The recommended water temperature is +36 - 37°C; it is not recommended to heat the water in the tub to a higher temperature. It is FORBIDDEN to heat the water in the tub above 40°C!
After use, always make sure that the fire is no longer burning!
Showering is mandatory before use and recommended after use. Eating, smoking, and any other activities that may contaminate the bath water are prohibited in the tub!
Please always put back the lid of the tub after bathing!
Guests are responsible for any injuries or damage caused by failure to comply with the rules. If you do not comply with the hygiene regulations, the cost of replacing the water is 20,000 HUF per occasion.
Barbecue, cauldron:
Barbecuing and cooking in a cauldron is permitted in the garden in accordance with fire safety regulations. Before leaving the barbecue or cauldron, please make sure that the fire is completely extinguished! After use, please wash and tidy up the equipment! It is forbidden to burn any materials other than the firewood and paper provided (such as plastic or rubber)! We do not provide charcoal for the grill.
Cleaning:
Guests receive the guest house in a clean condition and are responsible for keeping it clean during their stay. Please do not leave any food leftovers or trash behind when you leave, and please return the terrace and garden in good condition! For longer stays, cleaning, towel and bed linen changes are provided every seven days. Otherwise, cleaning, towel and bed linen changes can only be provided at an additional cost.
Garbage disposal:
Household garbage can be disposed of in the kitchen trash can (trash bags are in the cupboard). When it is full, please empty it into the large black trash can behind the house.
Payment and cancellation policy:
A deposit is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining amount and the tourist tax (750 HUF/night for guests over 18 years of age) must be paid by the guest in a single sum on the day of arrival at the latest. In case of early departure, we are unable to refund the accommodation fee.
Data management, invoicing:
When making a reservation, guests must provide their telephone number, which we will keep until departure in case of any problems or important questions that may arise. The accommodation provider is obliged to provide data to the MTÜ (https://mtu.gov.hu/). Upon arrival, guests are required to provide the accommodation provider with their personal documents (passport or ID card, address card) for data recording purposes. Since the NAV requirement stipulates that the service provider must issue an invoice, and the invoice must include the name and address of the invoiced party, as well as the tax number of the company, if applicable, and since the owner issues e-invoices, we need the guest's address card and e-mail address to fulfill this obligation, even if the guest registers guests in the Vendégem program in advance. If you do not wish to give your address card to the owner, you can also send your billing address by email to @email. The owner declares that they will not use the guest(s)' data for any other purpose than the above obligations, and that they will not store the data in printed form. The data stored on the computer will be stored until the possibility of a complaint expires.
Please note that the owner cannot be held liable or pay compensation for damage caused by events beyond their control (e.g., hail, fire, power outage, etc.).
The owner reserves the right to ask guests who behave scandalously and do not comply with the house rules to leave. In this case, the accommodation fee will not be refunded!
